FRISCO – The Early Lady Horns placed eighth as a team at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Class 3A Division II state meet earlier this week.

Alyne Celedon finished as the runner-up in the 181-pound weight class with 975 pounds lifted – 410 in the squat, 345 in the deadlift, and 220 in the bench press.

Matty Boswell placed third in the 114s with 745 pounds lifted – 295 in the squat, 295 in the deadlift, and 155 in the bench press.

Danielle Alcorta came in fifth in the 148s with 860 pounds lifted – 330 in the squad, 320 in the deadlift and 210 in the bench press.

Julienne Socong was seventh in the 114s with 690 pounds lifted – 295 in the deadlift, 275 in the squat and 120 pounds in the bench press.
