Zephyr, Sidney to be represented at Class A boys golf state tournament

Zephyr’s Slade Butler and Sidney’s Grant Torres on Tuesday qualified for the Class A boys golf state tournament based on their regional performances.

Butler was the third-place medalist at the Region IV-A golf tournament, while Torres won the Region III-A tournament. Torres shot a two-day total of 159 en route to the regional title.

The Class A boys golf state tournament will take place April 27-28 at Crystal Falls Golf Course in Leander.
