BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 0-2 in District 8-3A volleyball action and 3-6 overall with a straight-set home loss to state powerhouse Peaster Saturday.

“The girls played so hard and so well, I’m so extremely proud of them,” said Bangs second-year head coach Cheyanne Lovelady.

Maggie Morales led Bangs with six blocks, four kills and three aces, while Halle Lance chipped in nine digs, nine assists, three blocks and three kills. Skylar Hutchins chalked up 15 digs, Brooklyn Mullins added four kills and Cloie Montague recorded three kills.

Bangs is back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Comanche.
