Brown County Sheriff Report

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls for service dating back to Sunday, September 6.

On Tuesday, September 8, at about 17:51 hours, Deputy Simpson responded to Brin Street. This was in regards to a victim stating numerous items had been stolen. The items totaled approximately $880. The victim believes his neighbor had stolen the items. A report was made.

On Sunday, September 6, at approximately 10:58 am, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Victory Life Church, CC Woodson Road in Brownwood, in reference to a criminal trespassing report and investigation.

On Wednesday, September 9, at about 12:00 hours, Deputy Byron Langley arrived at FM 583W in May, Texas. This was in regards to fraud. Deputy Langley spoke with the victim who stated someone had opened an account on Facebook using her identifying information.

On Wednesday, September 9, at approximately 14:35, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to CR 156 in Bangs. This was in reference to the theft of medications.

On Wednesday, September 9, at 16:41 hours, Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched a call. This was in regards to criminal mischief at CR 381 in Brownwood. Corporal Bastardo spoke with a man who said an unknown individual went onto his property mudding, causing damage to his property.
