Press Release – The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Club invites members of the community to attend their upcoming monthly meeting featuring Chris Younts as guest speaker on Thursday, April 27th, at 6 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1800 Good Shepherd Dr. The Hall will open at 5:45, and light refreshments will be served. You do not need to be a member to attend. You may RSVP to Jessica at 325-200-5930.

Chris Younts is a Constitutional Conservative that strongly believes in the Constitution that the Framers left us. He will be speaking on Article 1 Section 7 of the Constitution, in reference to the phrase “the power of the purse”.  He will also speak on Article 3 Section 2, concerning the power of Congress to limit SCOTUS jurisdiction and the how/why the Republican Party still fighting the ACA, abortion, debt and other important issues. Chris is well founded on how government works as well as how the insurance industry works, having been in the insurance business since 1982. He will offer some views on the Republican ACA Health Plan currently being debated in Congress, and some steps on how to address that issue.

Chris ran for Congress in 2010  to fight the loss of American liberties, stop the government intrusion into our private institutions and stop the out of control spending that threatens our and our children’s economic future.

Chris and his wife still live in part of the land where he grew up, where they built a home in 1985.  They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Chris loves to take his bird dogs and go quail hunting, seeing and enjoying the blessings of God’s creation. Having been raised on a stock farm, raising cattle, gives Chris a firsthand understanding of the issues and concerns that residents in rural areas experience.
