Those planning a wedding won’t want to miss the summer wedding event at Good Samaritan Ministries.  Wedded Bliss: Tea Party and Fashion Show will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at 305 Clark Street.

The GSM Resale Store was given several beautiful new wedding dresses that will be on sale for 70 percent off the regular ticket price during this event.

“We are so excited to be able to offer a live fashion show to show off these gorgeous dresses we have for sale,” said Heather Thomas, Interim Executive Director of GSM. “If you are getting married or know someone who is, stop by Good Samaritan Ministries on Sunday, June 12.”

All of the dresses, ranging in sizes from 8 to 26, will be available for purchase at next week’s event. Tea and cookies will be served while local models showcase a sampling of the dresses in person. In addition to the wedding dresses, other donated items from the Resale Store will be on display that will be useful for the wedding season. Think bridesmaids’ dresses, wedding gifts, thank-you cards, and so much more.

“This will be an incredible opportunity to show people that there is so much more to the GSM Resale Store than they may have thought,” said Thomas. “We get in some really amazing clothing and household items and we are excited to show them off.”

Pictures of the dresses, their sizes and prices, are available on the Good Samaritan Ministries website: goodsambwd.org for those who would like to take a sneak peek ahead of the event. Cash or credit cards only will be accepted at the event.

All those who purchase a dress the day of the event will be entered into a drawing to win a bridal photography session with Amanda Coers good for one 1 to 2-hour session with up to 30 images.
