Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club member Roy Parrack presented Melia Edmondson of Blanket High School with one of the club’s annual $1,000 scholarships.

Edmondson is the Valedictorian of the Blanket High School Class of 2016.  She plans to attend Angelo State University, in San Angelo, this fall.

The Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club held several fundraisers throughout the year to provide five scholarships to Brown County high school students.
