The City of Brownwood is currently working to clean up parks and offer residents and businesses the following information regarding flood clean up.

Sand bags from the recent flood may be disposed of in the following manner:

1.       Keep – Residents/Businesses may keep the sand bags and utilize the sand.

2.       Return – The sand bags may be returned to the sand bag station located at the former Higginbotham’s location at 1500 Center Ave. today (Monday) through Thursday, June 9.  The City will collect the sand bags from that location.  There will not be curb-side pick up for sand bags.

Flooding debris (including wood, limbs, and washed up trash) may be piled up at the curb, and the City will pick up.  This applies to residential and commercial.  To request a pick up, do so the following ways:
