2009 Business Showcase Draws A Crowd

The 2009 Brownwood Business Showcase kicked off today and brought in a large number of residents to find out more about businesses in the area.

With over 70 booths, visitors to the Business Showcase had a wide variety of businesses & non profit organizations to choose from. One of the biggest draws was the Taste of Brownwood area in the center of the coliseum where area restaurants and food vendors gave samples of their goods to anyone who wanted to try them.

There were also numerous drawings, prizes, and raffles throughout the day.

A few creative businesses also received awards for having the best booths in three categories.
