Brownwood News – When you’re out and about this weekend, you may want to take the kids or grandkids to play on the new playground equipment at Riverside Park in Brownwood.  When we dropped by Friday morning, city workers were busy putting a little paint on one piece of equipment in the playscape but it should be ready by Saturday.  The main part of the play facility is ready for those 5 years to 12 years to enjoy.   According to the City of Brownwood, a cement sidewalk will be constructed to the ramp of the new nature inspired playscape later this fall to increase the accessibility of the playground.
