Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, October 8, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

Thursday, October 4th

  • 1:51 p.m. Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding a report of forgery.

Friday, October 5th

  • 12:59 p.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant over the phone regarding credit card abuse.
  • 1:46 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding an assault.
  • 2:35 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 10th Street in reference to a theft.
  • 10:42 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of 6th Street regarding a possible drunk driver. After an investigation, officers arrested Jackie Dalene McNew for Driving While Intoxicated.
  • 11:47 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce in reference to a disturbance. One individual was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Saturday, October 6th

  • 1:12 a.m. Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop on W. Commerce for defective tail lamps. This stop led to the arrest of Jimmy Grant Reeves for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or More.
  • 1:26 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce in reference to an intoxicated person. Officers arrested one individual for Public Intoxication.
  • 8:49 a.m. Brownwood Police patrolling in the 1300 block of 4th Street conducted a traffic stop on two SUVs for standing in the middle of the roadway. After a brief investigation, narcotics were discovered. Officers arrested Rance Haley Pilkington for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1<1G in a Drug Free Zone. Robert Daniel Rodriguez was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1<1G in a Drug Free Zone as well as Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair. Bryan Dee Penn was arrested for outstanding local warrants.
  • 11:39 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Penn Street in reference to Cruelty to a Non-Livestock Animal.

Sunday, October 7th

  • 3:54 a.m. Brownwood Police observed a female stumbling in the roadway while enroute to another call in the city. Contact was made with the female who was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested for Public Intoxication.
  • 12:42 p.m. Brownwood Police patrolling in the 1200 block of 7th Street conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to indicate intent to turn within 100 feet. Seabron Jaamar Fields was arrested for Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence.
  • 9:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to a theft. Jeffery Howard Box was arrested for Theft of Property Greater than $100, Less than $750.
