Thomas “TomTom” Eugene Hickman, Jr., 55, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2026.

Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, at Ramsey’s Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78633. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Locker Cemetery, 19448 FM-500, Richland Springs, Texas 76871.

Tom was born on December 10, 1970, in Brownwood, Texas, to Thomas (Tommy) Eugene Hickman, Sr. and Barbara Brown Hickman. He attended Brownwood High School and went on to pursue higher education at Texas Tech University and Texas State University.

On June 3, 1995, he married the love of his life, Marsha Day Hickman, and together they built a family and a life in Georgetown, Texas, raising their two children, Hayden Thomas Hickman and Mackenzie (Kenzie) Day Hickman.

Tom was a proud small business owner as a real estate appraiser, specializing in VA appraisals. A Boy Scout in his youth and in every sense of the word throughout his life, Tom lived by the Scout motto “Be Prepared” and by a code of service, integrity, and reliability that those who knew him felt every day. He had a gift for fixing just about anything and a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. He truly never met a stranger. Tom worked hard and was always the first to show up when someone was in need. He loved his wife and children dearly and was a tremendously proud father, was a devoted supporter of the Brownwood Lions football team throughout his life, and cherished his friends, classmates, and neighbors deeply.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Barbara Hickman.

Tom is survived by his wife, Marsha Hickman; his children, Hayden and Holly Hickman of Poynette, Wisconsin, and Kenzie Hickman of Georgetown, Texas; his siblings, Tia and Steve Turner of Wichita Falls, Texas, Veda Hickman of Round Rock, Texas, Nelda and Dean Price of Lakeside City, Texas, and Ronald and Alicia Hickman of Montague, Texas; his in-laws, Earl and Kathy Day of Cameron, Texas; and a vast and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss him greatly.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a cause close to his mother’s heart, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications. Tom’s family wishes to extend a special thanks to all of the family, friends, and caregivers who so lovingly helped and supported him and his family through this challenging time.
