Brownwood‘s annual Memorial Day program at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 25.

United States Congressman August Pfluger, who is an Air Force Academy graduate and F 22 raptor pilot with over 300 combat hours, will be the keynote speaker.

Brownwood native and United States Naval Academy graduate Admiral Jeff Lemmons will also speak.

Plaques honoring Calvin Evans from Blanket, and the battleship USS Texas will be dedicated.
