A dozen members of the 8-3A champion Early Lady Horns softball team received all-district accolades from the coaches of the league.

Earning MVP honors for the league was Sunny Groom, while Adysn Atchley was tabbed Pitcher of the Year.

First-team selections include Sydney Greaves, Andie Simpson, Jaime Lyon, Kyleigh Caperton, Paizlee Scott, and Jamie Vassar.

Landing on the second team were Avery Stifflemire, Aleeya McCombs, and Harper Thornberry, and receiving honorable mention was Racy Pruett,

Academic all-district honorees were Pruett, Graves, Simpson, Lyon, Groom, Atchley, Scott, Stifflemire, McCombs, Vassar, Thornberry, Zeliah Land, Tiffany Phelps and Maddy Walker.

The Lady Horns posted a 26-6 overall record, 14-0 in district, peaked at No. 11 in the state rankings, and were bi-district finalists under head coach Kelbie Case.
