Sara Bailey, age 54, of Brady, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Llano, Texas. Sara was born on October 9, 1971, in Brady, Texas, to Ernesto Garcia, Sr. and Gloria (Chapa) Garcia. She grew up in Brady and graduated from Brady High School. Sara married Ronnie Bailey on July 23, 1993, and had been married for 26 years when Ronnie passed away. She loved taking care of her goats, baking, and arts & crafts. Many referred to her as the “Pie Lady.” Sara and Ronnie owned and operated Bailey Metals in Brady for several years. She enjoyed painting, going to thrift stores and collecting dolphins. She was a lifelong resident of Brady and attended Vision Heights Church.

A memorial service for Sara Bailey will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Deacon Frank Lafuente officiating. Friends may view Sara’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign her online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Sara is survived by her mother, Gloria Garcia; son Ryan Woods; daughter Chelsea Thurman and husband Dylan; brothers Ernest Garcia, Jr. and wife Micaela and Mike Garcia and wife Estella; sisters Mary Lou Lafuente and husband Frank, JoAnn Nandin and husband Tony, and Sandra Ellison and husband Dean; grandchildren Heidi Woods and Gunner Thurman; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie and father Ernesto, Sr.
