The Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions opened the powerlifting season Thursday at the Buckaroo Bash meet in Breckenridge, combining for six medals.

Results are as follows:

• Leslie Rios – 1st place – 220 weight class 
• Emera Lombrana – 1st place – 105 weight class 
• Allisson Reyna – 3rd place – 198 weight class
• DeLayna Hall – 3rd place – 220 weight class
• Preston Cook – 2nd place – 132 weight class
• Isaac Gonzales – 2nd place – 181 weight class

The next meet is Saturday, Jan. 31 at Clyde.
