Early Lady Horns 56, Peaster 28

EARLY – The Early Lady Horns doubled up Peaster, 56-28, Thursday night in District 8-3A girls basketball action to move to 21-8 for the season and 8-1 in league action.

The Lady Horns led 20-8 after one quarter, 29-13 at halftime and 48-20 through three periods.

Scoring for Early were Avery Williams with 17 points, Aliyah Harlan with 14, Andie Simpson, Gabby Benson, and Cali Vargas with six apiece, Kayleigh Torrez and Mia Gomez with three each, and Kynli Skaggs with two points.

Early will next visit Comanche at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday

No. 17 May Tigers 68, Blanket Tigers 32

BLANKET – The No. 17 May Tigers remained undefeated in District 21-A competition with a 68-32 road triumph over the Blanket Tigers Thursday night.

May (16-8, 6-0) led Blanket (15-4, 3-2) by a 23-9 count after one quarter, 36-16 at halftime, and 53-28 heading to the fourth period.

Scoring for May were Brody Stice with 32 points, Kobey Morris with 13, Jackson Lusk with nine, Mikey Scheriger with five, Tyran Perry and Kaden Watkins with four each, and Maddix Raffel with three points.

Blanket received 15 points from Kannon Kensing, six from Mason Beck, four each from Brian Shannon and Cole Furry, and three points from Karter Keel.

May will host Rising Star Tuesday and Blanket will travel to Santa Anna.

No. 23 May Lady Tigers 68, Blanket Lady Tigers 7

BLANKET – The No. 23 May Lady Tigers kept their unblemished District 21-A mark intact wit ha 68-7 road victory over Blanket Thursday night.

May (23-7, 8-0) led Blanket 20-0 after one period, 49-2 at halftime, and 59-4 through three quarters.

Scoring for May were Jordyn Gerhardt with 29 points, Chloe Lord with 16, Lauren Hicks with eight, McKenna Landes with six and Cortney Harper with three points.

Blanket received five points from Matty Mueller and two from Aubrie Willis.

May will host Rising Star Tuesday and Blanket will travel to Santa Anna.
