Blanket sending 19 entrants to area track and field meet

The Blanket Tigers and Lady Tigers are sending a total of 19 entrants to the 21-A/22-A area meet, which Blanket will host on Thursday, April 10, following their recent performances at the District 21-A meet.

The Lady Tigers were third as a team while the Tigers finished fourth in the final team standings.

Area qualifiers for Blanket are as follows:

TIGERS

  • Kannon Kensing (1st in the 100 meters, 11.19)
  • Kannon Kensing (1st in the 200 meters, 22.66)
  • Kannon Kensing (2nd in the long jump, 20-11.5)
  • Kannon Kensing (2nd in the triple jump, 39-6.5)
  • Cameron Aultman (2nd in the pole vault, 10-0)
  • Cameron Aultman (3rd in the 800 meters, 2.18)
  • Gustavo Rodriguez (3rd in the shot put, 35-6.5)
  • Alex Valdez (4th in the 400 meters, 55.36)
  • Alex Valdez (4th in the 1600 meters, 5:10)
  • 4×100 relay of Alex Valdez, Cameron Aultman, Kade Russell and Kannon Kensing (4th, 48.45)
  • 4×200 relay of Brayden Caine, Kade Russell, Karter Keel and AC French (4th, 1:46.91)

  • Dallas Moreno (2nd in long jump, 14-7)
  • 4×400 relay of Audyona Flores, Dallas Moreno, Karli Kinkade and Lexi French (2nd, 4:57.57)
  • Audyona Flores (3rd in 800 meters, 3:08)
  • Aubrie Willis (3rd in the 1600 meters, 7:31)
  • Karli Kinkade (3rd in the long jump, 14-6)
  • 4×200 relay of Dallas Moreno, Mason Isom, Karli Kinkade and Lexi French (3rd, 2:03.15)
  • Lexi French (4th in the triple jump (28-0)
  • 4×100 relay of Dallas Moreno, Julia Amaya, Karli Kinkade and Lexi French (4th, 56.27)
