Norman Ray Johnson age 65 passed to be with his Lord on Monday March 3, 2025 at 1:09 am at his residence in Coleman, Texas.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 1:00pm at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.

Norman was born April 14, 1959 in Bakersville, California to William Elton and Mary Joyce Tilton Johnson.  He was raised in Modesta, California where he attended and graduated from Frontier High School and was a member of the Baptist Church.  He attended the Police Academy and served his country with the United States Navy from 1977 till 1981moving to Coleman upon his discharge.

On June 10, 1959 Norman married the love of his life Betty Jo Sellers in Coleman, Texas and they celebrated thirty five years of marriage.  He enjoyed family gatherings, playing the guitar and hunting and fishing.  Norman was a truck Driver employed with Stemple Manufacturing,
