Driver Walks Away from One Vehicle Rollover Accident on Hwy 67/84 Thursday

Brown County emergency responders were called to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 67/84, between Brownwood and Bangs, near the intersection of County Road 152.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

According to law enforcement on scene, the driver, who was traveling in the eastbound lanes, drove into the median and over corrected causing her Chevrolet Trailblazer to go into the eastbound bar ditch where it overturned.  The 19-year-old female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was reported to only have minor injuries according to responders on scene.

The vehicle sustained significant damage, as pictured above.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Martin Molotsky investigated the accident.

Bangs Volunteer Fire Department, Brownwood Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’’s Office, Allegiance Ambulance and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of the accident.

Below are first responders as they inventoried the vehicle, gathered the driver’s belongings from the bar ditch and inspected the damage before it was towed from the scene.
