BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons were unable to derail the Albany Lady Lions in their first match of the second half of District 6-2A competition, falling Tuesday night by a 25-19, 25-15, 25-21 count.

Jadyn Miller paced Bangs with eight kills trailed by Kasey Solis with four, Neeley Bradley and Raylee Hutchins with three apiece, and Ava Boren with a pair.

Bradley dished out 14 assists followed by three from Boren and one each from Miller and Julianna Ethridge.

Cloey Petty served three aces while Solis added one.

On the defensive end, Ethridge logged 20 digs trailed by Miller with 12, Bradley with eight, Petty with three, and Solis, Boren, Emily Baker and Joey Newton with two apiece.

Solis and Bradley finished with two blocks each and Baker added one.

The Lady Dragons (13-12, 2-3) are back in action at noon Saturday at Coleman.
