Senator Troy Fraser told members of the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce how amazed he is at the resiliency of Brownwood during the tough economic times.

During the Chamber’s monthly luncheon on Friday, he talked about the strengths of Texas by comparing the state government to the current federal government.   Fraser also touched on how Brownwood has done far better than many other communities in the state during the recession.  He outlined some of what it will take for Texas to come out of the recession and pitfalls that may be ahead.

The Senator was welcomed to Brownwood by close to 100 guests at the event and he took time afterwards to speak one-on-one with many of those in attendance.
