The Brownwood Lady Lions remained undefeated on the season, notching their third straight victory, 21-3, over Dublin at home Tuesday.

Brownwood tallied four runs in the first inning, two in the second, 10 in the third, and five in the fourth inning.

Annie-Klein Allgood finished with three hits – including a pair of home runs – and drove in six runs for Brownwood. Mia Lopez also homered, collected four hits and plated four base runners. Chloe Walls also contributed four hits and five RBI.

Chelsey Covey and Mackenzie Welch each chipped in a base hit, while the Lady Lions tallied 14 walks. Covey led the way in that category with three free passes. Dublin’s defense committed three errors as well.

In the circle, Allgood worked four innings and allowed one earned run on three hits with four strikeouts.

Defensively, Brownwood overcame four errors.

The Lady Lions – who have outscored their foes 38-5 thus far – are slated to take part in tournament action in Abilene Thursday through Saturday.
