GRAHAM – The Brownwood Lady Lions rebounded from their first District 4-4A soccer setback and pummeled Graham, 8-1, Tuesday night.

The Lady Lions (9-3-2, 3-1) struck first two minutes into the game as Ibis Alvardo scored on a free kick from 30 yards out, and the rout was on.

Kennedi Johnson and Watts Jones contributed two goals apiece, while Molly Oliver, Addison Pesina and Priscilla Sanchez also found the net. Oliver and Jones were each credited with two assists while Sanchez tallied one.

The Lady Lions are back in action at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mineral Wells.
