A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Brown Ranch Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Seth Moore, pastor of Hords Creek Cowboy Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Ranch Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. A funeral procession will leave from Stevens Funeral Home going to Brown Ranch Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday before the graveside service.

He was born Reuben Stanley Adian, Jr. on March 24, 1961 in Coleman to Reuben Stanley Adian, Sr. and Edna Louise Lewis Adian. Stan’s father worked overseas in the oil fields giving Stan the opportunity to live in many places including Carbon, London, Greece, and Ghana. The family moved back to their family ranch in Carbon after living overseas. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1979 and began his career as an oil field worker. Stan worked as a rough neck and absolutely loved his job. He became a mentor for many young men entering the industry and was proud to teach them everything he knew. Stan married Michelle Lee “Missy” Duvall on November 23, 1984 in Glen Cove. Stan had many hobbies such as working in his shop and Ford Mustangs. He was a gentleman of all trades and could make or repair anything that was broken. Stan loved his family and adored his children and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Stan will be missed.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Roy Lee Adian.

He is survived by his friend and companion for 39 years, Missy Adian of Coleman; his children, Trey Adian of Coleman and Ashton Adian-De Leon and husband Dustin of Santa Anna; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Amelia De Leon, and one on the way, Aubrey Jo Adian.

Memorials are suggested in memory of Stan to the Brown Ranch Cemetery Association, 4619 County Road 300, Gouldbusk, Texas 76845.

Remembrances, condolences, and messages of comfort can be expressed to the family at www.livingmemorials.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Adian family.
