Barbara Ann Oglesby

Barbara Ann Oglesby took her last breath here on earth surrounded by family on Mach 11, 2021 at the age of 79. Her next breath was taken in the presence of her Lord and Savior surrounded by family that has gone on before.

Graveside Services will be held at Bangs Cemetery, Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM.

Barbara was born to Roland and Frances Turvaville on August 23, 1941 in Chillichothe, Texas. Barbara graduated from Littlefield High School. She then married Arthur Raye Oglesby on October 8, 1959 and they began a life together that blessed them with 4 children. They celebrated 55 years of marriage together before Raye’s passing in 2014.

She enjoyed gardening and quilting, but most of all taking care of family. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her kind spirit will be missed by many.

Left behind to cherish Barbara’s memory are her daughters, Tammie Turner and husband John of Bronte, TX, Tricia Loman and husband Larry of Bangs, TX; son Tracy Oglesby and spouse Wayne Williams of Fort Worth, TX; brother LeRoy Turvaville of Killeen, TX; grandchildren, John, Krisit, Daegon, Kolton, Rikki, Grayson and 9 great grandchildren.

To welcome her with a joyous reunion into her heavenly home are her parents Roland and Frances Turvaville, her husband Arthur Raye Oglesby, daughter Toni Warner; grandson Keagon Warner; and siblings Earl Turvaville, Florance Dunn and Elsie Aaron.
