The City of Brownwood announced the following on its Facebook page Tuesday morning:

Tanner Brown with the Utilities Department has received the 2020 City of Brownwood Core Value “Safety First” Award for his dedication to safety while serving the Utility Department and the citizens of Brownwood.

The City of Brownwood Core Values are represented by “I S.E.R.V.E.” standing for Integrity, Service, Excellence, Respect, Vision, and Empathy.
