The Bangs Lady Dragons and Early Lady Horns both came up on the short end in their District 8-3A volleyball matches over the weekend.

On Saturday, Bangs dropped a 25-10, 25-17, 25-13 decision at Millsap.

Jacee Miller tallied two aces and seven digs, Cloie Montague and Wipada Pakeaw finished with two kills apiece, Skylar Hutchins collected 14 digs and Madi Martin notched six digs.

On Friday, Early fell in four sets at Dublin, 25-23, 25-20, 13-25, 25-19.

Early (6-10, 1-7) will visit Comanche at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday while Bangs (5-10, 2-6) travels to Peaster at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
