The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Brownwood District continues to perform the annual maintenance sealcoat project for the remainder of this month. Weather permitting, the project will finish up two more roads near Lake Brownwood on Tuesday, August 4.
TxDOT’s contractor will work on FM 2125 (FM 2632 to CR 617 and CR 617 to SH 279) on Tuesday morning and will move to FM 1849 (SH 279 to US 67) for the remainder of the day.
Motorists should expect various lane closures and plan for possible delays in travel. A pilot car will guide traffic through these work zones. Motorists are asked to use caution and slow their speed in work zones.
