Selma Joe Mills

Mr. Selma Joe Mills 58 years old of Brownwood passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at his residence.

Selma Joe Mills was born November 12, 1953 to Charlie Mills Sr. & Jessie Pearl Mills. He was preceded in death by his loving father and mother, Charlie & Jessie Pearl, and his brother; Halvin Austin Mills. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he received formal education through the Memphis City School systems. Joe was a 1971 graduate of Norhtside High School, and a soldier in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories six sisters and three brothers; Jayace Guinn, Etta Davis (Larry), Charlie Mills, Jr. (Ardina), Larry Mills (Bonnie), Wanda Iles, Charice Lobbins (Tim), Caleb Mills (Mary), Gaila Mills, Donna Mills, one uncle John Mills of Reidsville, North Carolina, numerous nieces, nephews, and Friends.

Visitation will be Thursday June 7, 2012 from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. At Walker Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
