The Early Longhorn football team struggled early in their season, but pulled off their second consecutive win of the season on the road Friday night against Ballinger 26-14.

Early had 309 yards of offense with 223 of that on the ground.  Early’s running back Austin Baugh had 27 carries for 154 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Although Ballinger had over 160 yard passing, the Longhorn defense held their running game to only 2 yards. 

The Longhorns are now 2-4 on the season, but with those two wins in district play.  

Early will face the Bangs Dragons next week at Longhorn Stadium.
