Brown County Sheriff's Office Report: May 18

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

On May 15, 2026, at approximately 1448 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to Bayside Dr in reference to ID Theft. Deputy Sanchez spoke with Russell Lynn Davis (Victim), who stated he received a letter from Texas Comptroller for past due sales tax. Information was taken, and report was made.
On 05/16/26, at approximately 1618 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to FM 1176 for a complaint of a suspicious male. Deputy Fox arrived and observed the male, who was later identified as BALE, MATTHEW, intoxicated in the middle of the roadway. BALE was placed in custody for Public Intoxication, Resist Arrest Search or Transport, and Harassment of a Public Servant. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
On May 17, 2026, at 1654 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched an animal complaint call at Fm 583 W in Rising Star, TX 76417. Information and pictures were gathered. A report was made.
