SAGINAW – The Brownwood Lions played to a tie against their second straight opponent, notching a 1-1 tie on the road against Class 4A Saginaw Eagle Mountain Thursday.

Aiden Jimenez scored the Brownwood (3-1-2) goal with an assist from Raven Prado.

The Lions were coming off a 2-2 tie at Class 5A Abilene Cooper Tuesday, and before that defeated Burnet, 5-0, and Burkburnett, 5-1.

The Lions, who are off until Feb. 3, will carry a four-match unbeaten streak into the District 5-4A opener against Lampasas.
