Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: July 2

  • On June 30, 2025, at approximately 07:12, Deputy Dean Anderson was dispatched to Hackberry, Brownwood, 76801 TX, for a call for service concerning an assault, which Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to, which later reportedly happened in the Brown County area. Contact was made with the victim, who said she was assaulted by Tyler Ray Glass on June 30, 2025, in the early morning hours, on the back county roads between Early and Owens. Information was gathered and report submitted.
  • On June 30, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, received a call for an animal bite, which occurred in Blanket. A report was made.
  • On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 07:06 hours, DPS Trooper Jake Wheeler located a white-faced black bull at the intersection of FM 2126/CR 267. Sgt Jayson Bastardo arrived on scene to assist in locating an owner. An owner was not located, so the bull was placed on 4910 CR 267. On July 01, 2025, the bull was estrayed and placed at 1050 W Commerce, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, until an owner can be located. A report was completed.
  • On Saturday, 6-28-2025, at about 15:43 hours, Early Police Officer Sgt Michelle Sheedy estrayed a goat and brought it to the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center, located at 1050 W Commerce St in Brownwood, TX, and placed it in a livestock pen.
