The City of Bangs is in the process of establishing a zoning ordinance, which will result in comprehensive zoning regulations throughout the City.
Bangs City Administrator Erica Berry said in an email, “The City of Bangs has never enacted any zoning regulations. The current Mayor and Council aim to ensure our community’s future development adheres to a thoughtful plan addressing the needs of both residents and businesses. We are currently holding several public hearings to collect input from our citizens.”
Berry added the next hearing on the matter will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, June 23, and the City is currently working to secure a larger venue for the event.
