With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Travis Sparkman Shaw, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. A visitation for Travis will be held from 10:00a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home. A funeral service for Travis will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Scott Meador. Arrangements are entrusted to Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.

Travis was born in San Saba, Texas, to J.R. Shaw and Alice Geneva Sparkman, Travis was a man of many talents and interests. He worked at the family car dealership in San Saba before work led him to various cities and as far north as Alaska. Travis was skilled in diverse trades, from farming pecans and hunting hogs to working for the United States Postal Service.

Travis was known for his friendly personality, a regular at local coffee shops and taco stands, and a lover of the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. His warm personality will be missed by all who knew him.

He is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Glynis.

He leaves behind his sons, Troy and wife Anna and Trey and wife Robin; his grandchildren, Hailey, Ava, and Lennon; his brother, Jarvis and wife Patty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at San Saba Rehabilitation for their dedicated care in Travis’s final years.

Online condolences can be shared at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com
