Ethel Lorine Firth

Funeral services for Ethel Lorine Firth of Lake Brownwood Texas will be Saturday November 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early Tx. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 29 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Firth passed away on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Pecan Bayou Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility surrounded by her loved ones.

Ethel Lorine Beeman Firth was born on April 25, 1945 in Peacock Texas, one of nine children born to John Henry Beeman and Ethel Lorine Locke Beeman. She was raised and attended school in Peacock Texas.

Lorine married the love of her life Henry Ruben Firth, on July 30th,1964 at Dyess Air Force base in Abilene, Texas. She worked at Wal-mart for 20 plus years before retiring. Lorine enjoyed her arts and crafts hobby and spent countless hours in her craftroom with her sister’s, daughters, and granddaughters building numerous types of arts and crafts. She also loved woodworking, and collecting an assortment of rocks.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her daughter’s, Sheila Hull, and husband Frankie of Coleman, Texas, Connie Jefferson, and husband Joe of Valliant, Ok., Cynthia Doyle, and husband Dan of Indianapolis, In., son Henry Ruben Firth, Jr., and wife Cruz of San Antonio, Texas. Three sisters, Frances Beatty of Abilene, Texas, Joyce Robertson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sandra Vandevender, and husband Bill of Clebourne, Texas. One brother, James Beeman of Rowlett, Texas. 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and her pal Mattie Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Beeman, sister Dorothy Nelson, and brother’s Earl Beeman, Victor Beeman, Jerry Beeman, and Thomas Beeman. Grandsons Bradley Ruben Doyle, and Frankie Hull Jr.
