The City of Brownwood posted the following information on its Facebook page:

Councilman Draco A. Miller named as the Texas Association of Black City Council Members director for Region 6.

The Texas Association of Black City Council Members, Inc. (TABCCM), is a membership organization formed to provide a forum for black local elected officials and the community. The primary purpose is to assist in the empowerment of black local elected officials and their constituencies. The association will carry out its purpose by facilitating opportunities for education, sharing ideas and knowledge, and advocating the economic betterment of the communities where its members serve.

The Texas Association of Black City Council Members, Inc. is an affiliate of the Texas Municipal League and a 501 (c) 3 organization.
