Ann Perkins, age 65, of Brownwood, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A graveside service for Ann will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 25 at Indian Creek Cemetery in Brownwood.

Ann was born August 27, 1959 in Caldwell County to Emory Roger and Helen Marie McConnell Sharp. She married Yancy Perkins April 19, 1985 in Brownwood and they began a life together that blessed them with 2 children. Ann worked in healthcare and foster care, but the career she loved the most was being a house wife. The house was always decorated for the season and Ann loved shopping for arts and crafts. She loved tending to the children and Yancy, keeping everything rolling forward. Ann was a member of Victory Life church in Brownwood and she loved to volunteer for any help that was needed. Yancy and Ann loved to get away and travel but not as much as spending time with their grandchildren. She cared for her pets deeply and found peace and happiness and caring for all things, just let her fix her make-up and grab a Dr. Pepper.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Yancy Perkins; daughters, Jessica Jackson and husband Jarryd, and Bianca Woods and husband Ben; her sister, Gayle Hardgrove and husband Charles; grandchildren, Ethan Blake Ethridge, Julianna Ethridge, Ryan Renfroe, Ethan Woods, Natalee Woods, Logan Woods, Miles Woods, Isaiah Jackson, Elise Jackson, Elijah Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Sharp and Emory Sharp.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
