The Early Police Department shared the following information Thursday morning:

On Wednesday , Oct. 9 the Early Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in Brownwood. The search warrant was related to the burglaries that occurred in Early during mid-July.

When these burglaries were reported a suspect had forced entry into 2 homes and 3 vehicles taking numerous items from the homes and a few items from several vehicles. While executing the search warrant numerous stolen items were located inside the apartment that were identified as stolen from one of the homes.

Early PD officers arrested the suspect, Kyle Chandler Whited, 23 years old, from his workplace on Oct. 9. During an interview Whited confessed to the crimes being investigated plus several car burglaries that were not reported. Property owners of the recovered property have been notified to identify items.
