The Coleman Police Department posted the following information on Facebook Tuesday:

On October 7, 2024, the Coleman Police Department executed a search warrant in the 600 block of West 13th Street in Coleman. Approximately 74 grams of Methamphetamine were seized as well as scales, packaging material, and other items of drug paraphernalia. A handgun was also found at the location.

Arrested at the scene were: Donna Sue Walters, age 60 of Coleman and Scottie Dale Tubbs, age 30 of Runnels County. They were both charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance over 4 grams and less than 200 grams in a Drug Free Zone. Tubbs also received an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

They were transported to and placed in the Coleman County Jail where Walters and Tubbs are each under a $75,000.00 bond for the Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance charge and Tubbs has an additional $10,000.00 bond for the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon charge.
