Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit announces schedule of demonstrators

The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit announced its schedule of demonstrators, who will be on hand at The Depot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 9 and again Wednesday, Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 16.

Those demonstrating are:

Wednesday, Feb. 7

Susan Stepp – Drawing

Paula Vaughn – Pastels

Mike Lewis – Pottery

Thursday, Feb. 8

Jimmie Hudson – Watercolor on Canvas

Robert Stacks – Woodworking

Mike Lewis – Pottery

Friday, Feb. 9

R.J. Barnett – Linocut

Molly Merick – Paper Flower Sculptures

Avalon Nitsvke – China Painting

Wednesday, Feb. 14

Joseph Stanley – Pour Paint

June Musick – Gouache Portraits

Dee Hail – Wildlife Photography

The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit will be open for viewing by the public at the Depot Civic & Cultural Center, at no charge, during the following hours:

  • Sunday, Feb. 4 – Saturday, Feb. 17
    Sunday : 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
    Monday – Friday : 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
    Saturday : 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

A special Disco Night at the Exhibit event will also be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.
