On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at approximately 10:48 a.m. Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Sherwood Dr., regarding loose livestock. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.

On Thursday, December 21, 2023, at approximately 11:50 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to CR 348 in Blanket in reference to a deceased person report, and investigation. 

On Friday, December 22, 2023 at 7:50 a.m., Deputy Michel Wilson was on a motorist assist on 183N & CR 404 with a White Chevrolet pickup where he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A person was arrested for Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 1:11 a.m. Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to a disorderedly conduct contact by phone. The victime stated one suspect had assaulted her and another suspect had done damage to her car. The victim wanted to press charges against both. Information was taken and a report was made.

On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 8:19 a.m. Deputy Ricky Herring was dispatched via telephone to contact a complainant in reference to person(s) unknown, that someone had taken a 12-foot pipe gate from her property. Contact was made and information was gathered, and a Theft report was taken.
