Esther Ruth Padilla, beloved mother and sister, passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 65. A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Esther will be held at Heartland Funeral Home, in Early, on December 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm. The service will celebrate Esther’s remarkable life, highlighting her unwavering faith and her generous spirit. Friends are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a woman who touched so many lives.

Esther was born on June 7, 1958, in Winters. She peacefully resided in Goldthwaite, TX, where she was cherished by her family and respected by all who knew her.

Esther lived a life of quiet strength and unwavering integrity. She pursued her education with passion and chose to attend Central Texas Community College. For many years, Esther worked at Cadence Bank, where she retired from in June 2023, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and dedication.

In her free time, Esther found solace and joy in expressing her creative spirit. She had a true passion for baking cakes, infusing her signature touch into each delicious creation. Her talent extended beyond the kitchen, as she also found great satisfaction in painting and engaging in various crafts. These artistic endeavors allowed Esther to bring beauty into the world and captivate those around her with her unique talents.

Esther was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and her departure from this world leaves an indelible void, but her memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May we remember her for her kindness, strength, and dedication to her loved ones and community. As we bid farewell to our beloved Esther, may she find eternal peace and comfort in the arms of her Creator.

Esther will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sarah Lister and husband Craig; brother, Samuel Padilla; sister, Deborah Padilla, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Moises Padilla Jr.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
