Kimber Green (12) scored a team-best 18 points for Brownwood (5-2), which will visit Early at 2:15 p.m. Monday.

HAMILTON – The Brownwood Lady Lions wrapped up weekend action in the Hamilton tournament Saturday with a 62-46 loss to Class 2A No. 12 Goldthwaite.

The Lady Lions trailed 17-10 after one quarter, 33-28 at halftime, and 49-38 heading into the fourth period.

Brownwood was led by 18 points from Kimber Green, 10 each from Hannah Deen and Trinity Roberts, four from Kate Tindol, three from Icess Hall and one point from Miranda Northcutt.

Goldthwaite received 15 points from Abbey Patrick, 13 from Lainey Jernigan and 10 from Hope Hermesmeyer.

Next for the Lady Lions is a 2:15 p.m. Monday trip to Early for their final game prior to the Thanksgiving break.
