8U CTX Threat Macias played in the Brownwood Spooktacular tournament October 21st and 22nd having an undefeated weekend and winning the costume contest ! Bringing home Champion Rings by defeating a talented 8U Bombers team in the championship game Sunday . Brantlee Thornhill had 3 great outs behind home plate and her first home run! Along with a handful of other home-runs from the team . The progress they’ve made in hitting is unreal compared to last season . They spent November 4th and 5th playing in Abilene for the Freight Fest tournament with 6 teams in their age group. They once again made it to the Championship game and brought 2nd place rings back home to Brownwood. Kimber and Kilen Jones both having outstanding home runs on Sunday in bracket play. The Threat girls have improved as a whole tremendously this season and are hungry and eager to keep it going as they plan to take the field in Abilene next weekend . The roster for the fall 2023 season is Madalyn Current ( first base ) , Blakely Scott ( second base ) , Brantlee Thornhill ( catcher ) , Kimber Jones ( short stop ) , Aliyah Dancy ( third base ) , Kilen Jones ( pitcher ) , Kelli Moody ( right field ) , Whitlea Wilson ( center field ) , Jolie Byrd ( center field ) and Xaileigh McKamey ( left field ) .
