Fishing Reports 9/13/23

The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of September 13:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.89 feet below pool. Black bass to 5.75 pounds are fair on jigs, shaky heads, crankbaits and frogs in 2-15 feet of water. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around docks on minnows in 12-16 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.00 pound under the lights and schooling using jigs and small moving baits. Catfish are fair to 5 pounds on jug lines using prepared and cut bait

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water stain; 85 degrees; 10.66 feet below pool. Water is murky after the recent rain. Catfish and crappie are good on worms and minnows. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Slightly stained; 85-87 degrees; 8.10feet below pool. Fishing patterns will remain similar until the water temperature starts to decline. Bass are good in the morning and evening in deeper water and around docks. Hybrids are schooling and can be caught with a rattletrap or topwater. Few reports of crappie.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

GOOD. Water stained; 85-89 degrees; 28.49 feet below pool. White bass are fair on live or plastic baits. Crappie are fair on live bait or jigs. Largemouth bass are fair. Catfish are fair. Navigate with caution as the lake level drops, watching for exposed trees along the channel. Report by Concho Park and Marina.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 82 degrees; 13.17 feet below pool. All ramps are closed due to low lake levels.
