Lady Horns, Longhorns punch tickets to area track and field meet

DUBLIN – The Early Longhorns and Lady Horns are sending a healthy contingent to the 7-3A/8-3A area meet based on their performances at the District 8-3A meet, which wrapped up here Thursday.

Lady Horns advancing include:

  • Rayana Barzart- Shot Put
  • Matty Boswell- 100M Hurdles and 300M Hurdles
  • Steely Fielder- 300M Hurdles (Alternate)
  • Ciara Gallardo- Shot Put
  • Jenna Hataway- Triple Jump and Long Jump (Alternate)
  • Carley Oliver- High Jump and 100M Dash
  • Kelcy Simpson- High Jump
  • Emma Stegemoller- 800M Run and 1600M Run
  • Madison Torrez- 800M Run (Alternate)
  • 4x100M Relay- Matty Boswell, Navaeh Tollett, Jenna Hataway, Carley Oliver
  • 4x200M Relay- Navaeh Tollett, Jenna Hataway, Madison Torrez, Carley Oliver

Longhorns moving on area:

  • Dylan Brame- Discus (Alternate)
  • Andrew Caten- Long Jump and 100M Dash (Alternate)
  • Sebastian Constancia- Pole Vault (Alternate)

The District 7-3A/8-3A area meet will take place April 20 in Jacksboro.
