Eight members of the Brownwood Lions basketball team were selected to the 6-4A All-District basketball roster by the coaches of the league.

Chosen for the first team were Luke Gray and Tristan Salinas, the top two scorers for Brownwood this season.

Landing on the second team were Morsello Hooker and Ike Hall.

Receiving honorable mention for the Lions were Gage Sparks, Trent Loftin, Hayden Noe and Hayden Proffitt.

Earning spots on the academic all-district roster were Sparks, Noe, Proffitt, Gray, Sam Bruton, Ty Tindol and Jaiden Perez.

The Lions finished with a 13-18 record and advanced to the playoffs as the fourth seed from District 6-4A in head coach Will Parker’s second season.
