An estimated 150 to 200 people showed up Monday evening to the Salvation Army of Brownwood Open House and free BBQ meal.

Deemed a huge success, the meal lead to new friends and ministry partners of the Salvation Army.  Volunteers are the backbone of the organization and more volunteers are needed.

The Salvation Army in Brownwood is located at 403 Lakeway Drive, just off West Commerce.  You can also call 646-5369 to volunteer.

Organizers send a big “thank you” to everyone who worked to make the Open House a big success.
